Today was disappointing. 💔

A client booked 3 services and unfortunately did not call or show up for their appointment.

That wasn’t just an empty chair—it was $87 in lost revenue, nearly 3 hours of appointment time that could have been offered to another client.

I understand that life happens. Emergencies come up, schedules change, and that’s exactly why I have chosen not to require deposits. I’ve tried to be flexible because I know many people have shared concerns about deposit policies, and I wanted to make booking as easy as possible for everyone.

All I ask is one simple courtesy:
If you can’t make your appointment, please let me know.

A quick text or call allows me the opportunity to fill that appointment with another client who may be waiting for an opening.

As a small business owner, every appointment matters. This isn’t just about money—it’s about respecting my time, my business, and the clients who could have used that appointment.

If the number of no-call, no-shows continues, I will have no choice but to begin requiring deposits for all new clients moving forward.
