Position: Eyebrow Threading and Henna Tattoo Artist
Location: District Heights, Maryland
Number of Openings: 2
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience, with the opportunity to earn tips and commissions
Benefits: Base salary plus tips, commissions, and other incentives based on performance.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Eyebrow Threading: Utilize precise threading techniques to shape and groom clients' eyebrows to their specifications, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
2. Henna Tattoo Application: Offer both traditional and custom henna designs based on client preferences. Ensure each design is carefully crafted to meet the desired style.
3. Client Consultations: Provide professional consultations to understand client needs and expectations for both eyebrow shaping and henna designs, making personalized recommendations.
4. Work Area Maintenance: Ensure that your work area is clean, hygienic, and organized at all times. Sterilize equipment and tools regularly in line with best practices.
5. Service Quality and Time Management: Deliver outstanding services while adhering to time management standards to maintain an efficient workflow in a busy environment.
6. Stay Current on Industry Trends: Continuously develop your skills by staying updated on the latest techniques, trends, and innovations in eyebrow threading and henna artistry.
7. Customer Service: Ensure a positive experience for every client by addressing concerns, providing aftercare instructions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Required Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in eyebrow threading and henna tattoo artistry.
2. Artistic Skills: A high level of proficiency in threading techniques and henna design creation. Must be able to create both intricate and simplistic designs as requested by clients.
3. Customer Service Expertise: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their needs.
4. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality, ensuring each service meets the highest standards.
5. Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing time and client needs efficiently while maintaining high-quality results.
6. Safety and Sanitation Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and sanitation practices related to eyebrow threading and henna tattoo artistry.
