I've been a professional hairdresser since 2003, and see clients in the comfort & privacy of my home, as well as SalonQ in Downers Grove.
I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chicago in 2003, and began working in Lakeview Chicago at Orbit Salon. Diversity in hair care lines, color lines, and clientele gave me a great foundation to my early education and experience. My passion quickly became cutting and coloring. I studied under Vidal Sassoon and Tony&Guy educators during my early apprenticeship, and enjoyed 6+ years working at Or

My recent move has allowed me to open my books to new clients & new chairside chats. I’m always feel blessed for the great conversations I get to engage in daily. And this was certainly the case with this lovely new guest! We updated this lovely young lady with fresh highlight and a new long bob! Low maintenance but beautiful!
Being a hairdresser allows me the privilege to meet amazing people. And my take away is that we ALL matter. In the very small and very big ways we show up in this world, we matter.
I’m grateful to be trusted not only with your hair, but your personal stories. Thank you for being you. 🩷
The kiddos and I enjoyed a great weekend! And coming up is a camping weekend! Can’t wait to explore some caves and hopefully some beautiful weather like this weekend. 🏕️

Julie came to see me last week to refresh her color!! 💜🩷💜
She’s am amazing mother and advocate for her 3 kids. She’s dedicated the last 20 years to the care of her daughter who has a rare genetic disorder, Kleefstra Syndrome, which can be characterized by speech delay, low muscle tone, and intellectual disability to name a few. Please take a moment to learn more about Kleeftra Syndrome and how to donate towards research.
It’s always a pleasure spending time with Julie, and I’m happy she takes some time for herself and fun hair!!
