June is officially here, and it is going to be a incredibly busy month! I wanted to reach out because I have a very limited number of open spots left this month due to moving into my new home! It's all about lash retention...

Hey, beauties!

Here is our latest newsletter about keeping great retention with lash extensions. Sometimes it can be a frustrating one at that, especially when it's simply out of our control. Lash health is super important to me as a Lash tech. Without a good set of healthy lashes us lash techs won't be able to give you best set we can do for you. Sure, lashes grow back, but if you aren't following protocol, you will instantly start to see changes over time. Lash extensions can be healthy as long as you take care of them. Don't get me wrong, it is a two way street for I, the lash tech as well for the client. It's a team effort. 😉

So below are a few reminders on how to keep great lash retention.

Basic steps to keep good overall retention.

Step 1: Don't neglect washing your lashes!
This is a huge one. This goes for everyone. Especially for those who wear make up, have oily skin, or generally active etc. This can be a huge indicator on how your retention will be effected. This is where infections come in. Swelling, puffiness, sensitivity can all be a sign of irritation than can lead to infection. Wash your lashes!

Step 2: Don't pick or touch with your fingers!
I'm noticing this habit a lot. Please, don't play, pick or rub on your lashes. Your fingers are always dirty and have oil on them for the lash extension to fall. You don't also want to pick to pull out your natural lash! This is a no go! If you are stressed, don't pick at yourself. If you don't have a lash comb on you, make sure you place them everywhere so you do! But make sure your lash comb is clean too!

Step 3: Wear an eye-mask if you are waking up with lashes all on your pillowcases.
I have notice throughout the years that everyone sleeping habits can change! Sometimes, not for the better when you are under high stress. When you notice this, find time to buy a lash mask on amazon! This helps a lot!

Don't get me wrong though...there are things that are simply out of our control, such as, stress, medications we start to use, shedding seasons especially! Be gentle and easy with yourself. This is an investment.

A day we rejoice!

As we approach this beautiful weekend, I wanted to reach out and wish you a very Happy Easter and a blessed Resurrection Day!

This is such a special time of year as we celebrate the hope, renewal, and new life found in Jesus. It’s a season that reminds us of the power of grace and the beauty of a fresh start.

In the spirit of this season, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for the people in my life, and that includes you. I am truly so thankful for your support and trusting my work. It is a joy to serve you, and I hope your heart is filled with warmth, peace, and the love of Christ as you celebrate with your family and friends.
