Allow me to reintroduce myself.

My name is Jason White.

I am a owner / operator here at Berea Capris.
I started here under Elaine in 1999 here at Capris, washing dishes. Over the years and years of perfecting my craft in the kitchen of Capris, and various other part time jobs in kitchens downtown, Pelham rd ect… I held true to myself and purchased Capris in 2015, after completing my Culinary degree at Culinary Institute of the Carolina’s. In 2015 the food did not change… because I’ve cooked here many years previously, as I’ve seen posted. Since then I’ve went on the to open up a Meal prep program, in which we’ve sold 10’s of thousands of perfectly portioned meals. I take this time to reiterate Berea Capris is here to stay as a small local owned and operated restaurant. We are not going anywhere anytime soon.

Capris holds true to its standards and recipes, and will not change.
Hopefully this can clear up any confusion, and phone calls with questions we receive.
We are not closing!
Capris loves all the people who have made this possible over the many years, and will continue many years.

Bring the family and experience a true house made meal.
From fresh chopped lettuce with local delicious veggies ( when available ) to hand crafted lasagna , daily might I add. You will never get a precooked frozen meal here. This is not fast food… this is made from scratch in house by a certified chef. Nothing less!
That being said this is not fast food this is scratch food, it takes time.
