This is one of the harder things I’ve ever written because I don’t like admitting when I’m not okay.

If I’m being honest, my heart has been carrying more than it knows what to do with. The last several months have been incredibly heavy. Between the weight of life, finances, motherhood, marriage, running a business, and trying to be strong for everyone around me, I reached a point where my mind and heart simply couldn’t keep carrying it all. I recently experienced one of the worst panic attacks I’ve ever had, and it made me realize I can’t keep pretending I’m okay when I’m not.

The first thing I want everyone to know is that I’m not going anywhere. I’m not closing my business, changing careers, or stepping away from my clients. I love what I do far too much. This little business has been one of God’s greatest gifts in my life. What I am doing is learning that I have to prioritize myself, too. For so long I’ve poured into everyone around me without stopping to ask if my own cup was empty. I’m realizing that taking care of myself isn’t selfish it’s necessary. I want to continue serving you all for many years to come, and that starts with caring for the heart behind these hands.

I’m getting help. I’m taking the steps I need to heal, and I’m so thankful for the people God has placed around me to walk through this with me. Healing takes time, and I’m choosing to give myself grace instead of guilt.

To my clients… I don’t think you’ll ever truly know what you’ve meant to me over these last few years. You’ve celebrated my victories, cried with me through losses, prayed over me, loved my family, supported my small business, and reminded me why I fell in love with this career in the first place. You have become so much more than clients you’ve become my village, my safe place, and honestly the backbone of this business. I wouldn’t still be here without your unwavering support, your kindness, and the love you’ve shown me through every season.

You may notice I’m a little slower to respond or that I’m being more intentional with protecting my time outside of work. Please know that isn’t because I care any less it actually means I care enough to make sure I’m showing up as the best version of myself when you’re in my treatment room.

If you think of me, I’d appreciate your prayers. My heart is tired, but I know God isn’t finished with this story. I’m choosing to believe that even in the heaviest seasons, He’s still holding me together when I don’t have the strength to hold myself.

Thank you for your grace, your patience, and your love. Thank you for believing in me even when I’ve struggled to believe in myself. I love each of you more than you’ll ever know, and I’m so thankful God entrusted me with this little dream and the incredible people who’ve become a part of it. ❤️
