9 Houses. One Scene. One Voice.

The Gulfcoast Kiki Scene is part of the ballroom culture that consists of ballrom houses that make up the Gulfcoast Region of the US. This scene is created as a form of a competitive space but also a place for creativity, fashion, fantasy and family. The houses shown are: Giuseppe Zanotti, Moschino, Supernova, Nike, Lepore, Mamba, Juicy, Old Navy and Von Dutch.
When I decided to create this project I wanted to make sure it showed nothing but fashion, and a sense of togetherness.
In this image are representatives from each house that exemplifies greatness on and off of the ballroom floor and leaders within the LGBTQIA+ community. Collectively we are a group of individuals with the love of ballroom and being able to express ourselves creatively and making moments. This shoot shows community and black excellence and how the Gulfcoast Kiki Scene all together make up one scene and one voice.
