It has been a while since I’ve posted. Here are a couple of heads I’ve been privileged to work on recently and had time to take pictures.

To all my wonderful clients:

I hope you are all safe and healthy.

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll reopen the salon on Tuesday June 2nd. I can’t wait to see everyone and work on lots of quarantine hair. There are a few things to keep in mind for your next visit.

Here are the new requirements for appointments at WanderLux:

* If you are having or have had any Covid-19, cold or flu like symptoms, including having a fever, even if you think it’s allergies, or if you have been exposed to anyone with these symptoms, you are required to reschedule your appointment at least 14 days out

* Please print out, read and sign the client waiver sent to you prior to your appointment and bring it with you to your appointment

* Common areas in the building are closed. Call or text me when you arrive. Please remain in your car until you hear from me directly. I will meet you at the front door and we will proceed to my suite together

* Your temperature will be taken upon entering with a forehead thermometer

* We will both wash our hands before entering my suite

* Please wear an ear loop mask in the building at all times. This is not an option, it is a requirement. Your mask may get color on the ear loops, so please choose one where this won’t be a problem. If you don’t have a mask, you can purchase one from me for a small fee

* Only 1 client is allowed in the suite at all times. This includes significant others and children. Please come to your appointment alone or have your friend/family member wait in the car

* I am not allowed to provide magazines or drinks during appointments

* Conversations will be kept at a minimum, particularly at the shampoo bowl

* Due to all the required PPE and cleaning supplies and the extra time required before, during and after each client for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting there will be an added charge. This charge will be $5.00 for cuts and $10.00 for cuts and colors. This charge is temporary until things settle down and we go back to normal

* Reduced styling time: I will be keeping blow drying to a minimum during this time to avoid the spread of contaminants. Thank you for understanding that skipping our usual fancy blowout is best and being okay with sticking to the basics for now

I have completed 2 Barbicide certifications during our time at home to keep you as safe as possible.
