Weaves require maintenance. Keep your hair properly cleaned and shampooed to remove dirt, dead skin cells, hair oils, and any products.

It's important to remember your scalp is completely closed off when you get a weave, so keeping an itch relief product on hand is essential.

To avoid heat damage, always keep your flat irons below 350 if you have relaxed hair and below 400 for natural hair.

A silk pillowcase or bonnet can also work in place of satin.

Hair can easily get caught on cotton pillow cases which causes hair breakage as you're sleeping, Use a satin pillowcase to protect your hair
