Welcome to MnSkn! Once upon a time, after enduring uncomfortably tight, thirsty skin and finding no solution that helped, I decided to do something a little unconventional. What are these ingredients in my skincare jars and squeeze bottles? Are they safe? What's the difference between natural ingredients, versus naturally derived, botanical and synthetic? What is a cold-pressed oil? Are essential oils safe for my skin? What ingredients actually work? Curiosity and an appetite to learn how to create in my own kitchen led me to Formula Botanica, an online school in the UK that answered all my questions and more. Two diplomas later and my final course project ready to be tested by time and use, my skin was finally satiated. I've been using my Sea Boosting Moisturizer for six years and my skin in my 30's is happier and healthier than in my early 20's.
