Probably my most common recommendation to patients is ☝🏼
Magnesium Sulphate or the more commonly labelled Epsom salts have a plethora of benefits, so many that one could go on and write a whole book on it but above are just some of the most common ones that you may have experienced yourself.
You can have a salt bath, or foot bath and gain these benefits from this simple home remedy. What’s not to love?

Late Summer and Fall are always a great time to get out with family and friends and enjoy all there is
to offer in the wonderful great outdoors but sometimes it can get uncomfortable if you suffer from
allergies. So can being reliant on over the counter pills to keep those pesky symptoms at bay, so
below are 7 ways you can help Allergies naturally. Let me know if you try any and how they work for
you
1. Drink –Apple cider vinegar, this boosts the immune system, it’s helps to break up mucus and
supports lymph drainage helping you to combat the allergy and those sniffly sneezy
symptoms that follow should you not catch it in time to prevent them.
2. Hydrate - Lots of water, keeps the tissues hydrated and reduces irritation. Nice wet cells are
also happy cells
3. Herbal Remedies – Butterbur in particular acts similar to antihistamine, helping to reduce
histamine and relieve allergy symptoms, may also help to reduce inflammation
4. Clean – Clean your house to ensure dust particles, pet fur, and pollens from flowers etc are
kept to a minimum indoors. This helps to reduce the triggers in the first place.
5. Essential oils – stock up! Great for everything. But lavender in particular helps open up the
airways and ease breathing, so pop some in your diffuser or pop some on your hands and
holding hands about six inches away from your face, gently inhale to open up the lungs.
6. Local Honey – consuming local honey can help build up tolerance for the local pollen. If you
are vegan of course skip this step.
7. Take probiotics – research has shown that taking probiotics can help reduce symptoms

For real though, this acupuncture point known as Yin Tang is used to calm the mind, body and spirit. If you’ve had a face-up acupuncture session with me, you’ve experienced this point, everyone gets it. We use it to reduce stress and anxiety as well as to improve sleep quality and reduce headaches and sinus issues. Pretty cool, huh?
