☀ Summer Skincare Regimen. ☀

Below are a few tips to help keep your skin healthy and glowing throughout the warm summer months.

1. Hydrate Your Skin: Incorporating a good moisturizer and masque into your routine several times a week is a simple and effective way to keep your skin hydrated.
Tip: A toner spritz is a convenient refresher you can easily carry to keep skin hydrated throughout the day.

2. Apply & Apply Again: Don't just apply sunscreen... REAPPLY sunscreen every two hours. Also, look for foundation and moisturizers with SPF.
Tip: Stay out of the midday sun from mid-morning to late afternoon whenever you can.

3. H2O is your Friend: Higher temperatures and spending more time outdoors can lead to internal dehydration. But you can combat this by drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of filtered water daily.
Tip: If you drink caffeinated beverages, you must drink triple the amount of water!

4. Exfoliate: Exfoliation removes dead, dull skin, improving hydration. After exfoliating, use a hydrating body cream and always protect freshly exfoliated skin with an SPF.
Tip: Makeup will last longer on exfoliated skin!

5. It's the Balm! If you forget the sunscreen or stay in the sun a little too long, apply a cooling balm to overexposed skin, preferably at the first sign of a pink glow. Remember to get a yearly skin exam by a doctor.
Tip: One blistering sunburn doubles your risk of melanoma.

6. Repair & Treat: UV light causes photoaging, but don't worry—you can fight back! Bombard your skin with age-fighting ingredients to help undo any damage that may have occurred and further protect it from the aging effects of UV exposure.
