There have been MANY things that have broke my heart over the last four months. Things that have taken me to places where I questioned my own existence. That’s a dark place. To encounter situations/people that seemed hopeless at times. However, one thing I always resort back to is this......
When times get tough, you better reach out to the people who genuinely love and care about you. Asking for help when you’re struggling is strength NOT weakness. Crying is healing and VERY necessary. There’s good days and bad days and that’s ok. Strength comes from all those things compiled into one, one day you wake up and say, ‘that’s it, you’re not going to f**k with me anymore’
(Situationally speaking)

I could say that 2020 was awful, live in regret, but instead I choose to be thankful. Thankful for the good and the bad. Because at the end of the day, my ‘come back’ is WAY stronger than any setback!!!!

You HAVE TO have the,
‘it is what it is’ mindset. Let it go, keep it together, NO MATTER what life hits you with.....

I can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving 🦃which means it’s almost Christmas 🎄which means it’s almost 🎉2021......😱

I feel like I had all these amazing goals in 2020 that I DIDNT accomplish, yet here we are the end of the year hoping for a better 2021. Not to be negative, but it’s likely that the same issues we’ve all endured in 2020 will still be present in 2021. So I ask myself.....how am I going to achieve my goals with the same road blocks???? I don’t have the answer yet. BUT I always have a plan.......Food for thought in this Monday morning. Happiest of Mondays to my virtual IG family!

✨2020 was not my year to compete.✨ Wearing a mask on your face as you walk across stage ruined it for me! BUTTTT what will 2021 hold? I miss my posing sessions, my insane workout schedule, and eating air 😂. I DONT miss all the cardio though. I’ll always love the sport and I hope 2021 allows me to do it again (w/o a mask).

A smile is the most inexpensive gift we can give, yet it’s power is endless.

I think back to three years ago and my life goals were so different. I wanted to have another baby, be a wife, a great mom, and to rock the fitness world.

Thank you Jesus, for not giving me all that I wanted! I’m a great mom and I rock the fitness world everyday. Those other things 😏 I’m so thankful I didn’t get what I ‘thought’ I wanted.

Isn’t it funny how we will fight SO HARD for something and if it’s not meant to be, IT WONT BE. It’s like trying to force something that will never happen. In your mind you think, ‘NO I’m going to make this work’ OR ‘I’m going to get what I want’ OR ‘it’s just easier to keep doing life this way’

Even if it’s easier, if it’s not meant for you, you will eventually change directions. You either choose it, OR things don’t work because they’re not for you!! Either way is challenging. I’ve learned you can block your blessings if you fill spaces (meaning your energy) with things and people(s) who aren’t for you!👈🏻 that’s a tough one!

Easy isn’t always best. Easy can be complacent. Easy can be safe.....in my humble opinion. 🥰

Let me summarize this post...... create space for good things to come into your life! Good people, good energy! What you think you want, may not be what’s best!
