All about our peels!
The chemical peels we offer at the White Barn are AMAZING! If you’ve had one, you know that you can quickly become addicted to receiving one of our peels every month.
We offer three different kinds of peels so there’s something for everyone and our aesthetician can help you choose the right one for you and your skin if you are unsure of what to book. Our peels are superficial, which means they don’t go below the epidermis or outer layer of the skin. There is very little peeling and/or redness and the results after just 1 treatment are visible and the skin is smooth to the touch. We recommend peels scheduled every 3-4 weeks over the course of 4-5 months for long lasting future results and minimizing any previous damage (wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, etc.)
Our peels are done in layers over the course of the treatments, and this helps create very effective results over time without damaging the skins barrier. We use a prep solution for maximum exfoliation and a neutralizing solution at the end to restore the skins Ph and protect the barrier. The peel solution itself only sits on the skin for a few minutes and our aesthetician checking in to make sure everything feels comfortable. Peels should not burn or be painful! If you ever feel uncomfortable please be sure to let her know right away so she can neutralize and remove the peel.
As always, our treatments are finished off with a hydrating toner, moisturizer, and Hydrojelly Masque, helping your skin recover in the best way!!
We don’t recommend chemical peels if you have extremely sensitive skin, if you are on medication, if you use retinol or vitamin A and/or are pregnant.
