Traffic Update 169 Redefine ❗️
The final traffic switch for this first phase of year 3 will occur overnight this week. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, crews will deactivate the signal system at Hwy 169 and Main St. Main St. on the east side of Hwy 169 will close to Zane St. and Main St. on the west side will remain closed to Carson Ave. Hwy 169 will be reduced to one lane, in each direction, 24-7, between Hwy 10 and School St. through late October.

This traffic switch is expected to be in place by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11. Hwy 169 traffic will be on the southbound side of the road as crews reconstruct northbound lanes. For those who will be traveling through the work zone overnight, please slow down and watch for workers and equipment.

Due to the recent weather conditions, closures and work on year 3 of the 169 Redefine project are slightly delayed.
Here is the current updated plan:

Monday, April 1
◾️Main St. on the west side of Hwy 169 will close at 9:00 a.m. to Carson Ave. as construction of the bypass lane begins.
◾️Main St. on the east side of Hwy 169 will remain open.

Saturday, April 13
◾️Main St. on the east side of Hwy 169 will close to Zane St.
◾️ Main St. on the west side of Hwy 169 will remain closed to Carson Ave.
◾️ The signal system at Hwy 169 and Main St. will be deactivated and removed.
◾️ Hwy 169 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Hwy 10 and School St. Traffic will flow on the southbound lanes while the northbound lanes are constructed first.

We highly encourage you to plan your routes in advance prior to these closures. Please note: Carson Ave. business access will remain, but you will not have access off of Hwy 169. Please plan accordingly.
