Short read : I get asked this question often : Do you need a relaxer for short hair my answer is :Yes . I personally will not do it no matter the texture 99.9 percent of my clients are relaxed & most already have a nice texture,even with color , reason being, think about how your hair last when you sweat or in humid conditions your hair won't lay even curly hair , it will curl back up & can be difficult to achieve that perfect mold , now being everyone has different texture the relaxer is applied differently for your hair type & that also has to do with the stylist knowledge of hair health, say all this to say I personally will not do it in all cases but there are other stylist who will & I end up getting that very client saying I went here there & my hair didn't last , knowing exactly why but still insist on blaming the stylist.
