Posted • We sure did give it our best shot 💚 Thank you for Creating an incredible company and proving a solution to our industry’s waste problem!
At we were able to contribute to the making of Mats made out of your hair clippings to soak up the oil spills in the ocean, filters made out of hair clippings to prevent debris from going into storm drains and ultimately ending up in our oceans and landfills.
We donated All of our foils, aerosol cans, soda cans, any metals to be recycled and reinvented into energy and to BREAK DOWN the landfills.
And SO much more!
TRULY an amazing company.

❗️UPDATE: With a very sad and heavy heart, I regret to share with you that Studio Feathers Hair Lounge will not be reopening. California has still not given us an opening approval date, but this is not the only factor. There were a lot of unfortunate events that factored into this very hard decision.
I thank each and every one of you for supporting our sweet little studio for the last almost 5 years. We absolutely could not have made it this far without YOU! I have learned more in the last 5 years of owning a salon than I ever could have imagined there was to know. Adding up all The lessons I’ve learned, Stylists & others who have worked; artists we featured, hair we’ve recycled, clients who have laughed in our chairs, plumbers who have had to fix alllllll of the leaks and overflows, and all the contractors we’ve had in there still don’t compare to the amount of times we rearranged that little studio 😂. It also doesn’t compare to the joy I had while building every memory.
Studio Feathers was my home and my dream.
Even though the next time I do this won’t be in the near future, I will rock it again. Someday. Until then, I will continue to live and contribute in any and every way that I can to this world. To create. That is my promise.

Reposted by ⚜️New week, new transformation ⚜️ My guest had some banding from previous color (done elsewhere) and quite a bit of brass happening. Her goal was to brighten things up a bit, tone down the brass and get away from permanent root coverage~ so I opted for a shadow root using a Demi permanent color to soften the application point of her highlights 👌🏻 All used. .
