We actually were the ones that taught our clients to come in with dirty hair years and years ago. but we've learned better now
Clean hair will always – and I mean always – cover better
We told our clients to come in with dirty hair so that the hair color "stay better"... but in actuality it was so it wouldn't burn their scalp as bad… It was a buffer to the pain 😵💫😵💫😵💫
This is one reason why I now use clean, organic, ammonia free color… No pain. No nasty smells. No harsh chemicals.
