I had originally bought the Power Tea for colds (which it is phenomenal for), but recently had a very heavy and painful period. On a hunch, my husband made me a cup and I am so glad he did! My flow lessened, as did the pain. I never thought to use it for heavy or painful periods, but I am so glad I did! So many uses for Power Tea!

Thank you Peggy! Power Tea is tasty, soothed my throat, quieted my cough, soothed my sinuses and made me more alert! Just drinking Power Tea calmed my body. I was forewarned, should I drink it in the evening, I should add a night cap to it, or I could be wide awake. I didn't have any hot toddy to add. I drank the tea anyway, because it made my body feel so much better, and yup, I was awake! That said, I was awake and productive. A welcomed duo. The ratio I used was 1 to 2 teaspoon Power Tea and raw honey, heated to 175 - 180 degrees.

I stayed home, sick as a dog, Friday. Saturday, I could hardly stand up, broken with the flu. I could hardly sit up, to be honest. I forgot I had some Power Tea left from back in February. When I got home from work on Saturday (prepping for next school week, certain I was down for the count), I had two cups. Coughing stopped. Sore throat soothed.
I had two more cups Sunday morning. My sore throat was gone altogether by mid-day. I had two more cups Sunday afternoon. It's Monday night, now, and my body aches still, and I'm beat from teaching all day, but I biked the 9 roundtrip miles to school today. On the mend for sure.
Definitely flu. Whipped in three days? Pretty sure it wouldn't have happened (especially after working all weekend!) without Power Tea. One cup's worth left before bed tonight= time to get some more to have on hand for next time. Thanks, Peggy.
