I never thought I’d be making hair products… but when my niece asked me to create a special hair blend for her, of course Auntie said yes. 💕

So much has changed over the years, but the heart of it all is still the exact same: creating plant-based comforts by hand and sharing them with my community (near and far) 🌻🌿
The first couple photos are me in early 2015, freshly aromatherapy certified 🤓 and newly finishing a small business development program through NEDCO (now DevNW) …and 10 years later, I still genuinely love learning, experimenting, and creating in the AromaZone.
Thank you for being part of this dream of mine and for growing alongside me all these years. 🥲
POV: you pause your entire day because there’s a rainbow outside 🌈
A few things about rainbows that genuinely blew my mind:
• Every person sees their own unique rainbow
• No two people are seeing the exact same one
• Rainbows are actually full circles- we usually only see part of them because Earth is in the way
• You can never physically reach the “end” of a rainbow
• They only exist because of light, water, and your exact perspective
• You’ll always see a rainbow in front of you- never beside or behind you
Nature is so magical.🥲
Anyway…this reminded me to bust out my Rainbow Zest essential oil blend today for a little extra magic 🍊✨🌈

Our sense of smell is incredibly powerful. Certain scents can instantly bring us back to a memory, a feeling, a person, or a moment in time.
That’s one of the things I love most about aromatherapy. It’s not always about fixing something...sometimes it’s about creating small comforting moments throughout the day.
A refreshing, minty spray after a lunch break.
Fresh air after being inside all day.
A calming scent before bed.
A familiar aroma that helps everything feel a little bit better. 😌

Somewhere between the sound of the water and taking a deep breath of fresh air… everything slows down a little.
I can’t make it to a waterfall every day, but I’ve found small ways to bring a bit of that feeling with me.
I keep one of these aromatherapy inhalers on hand for moments when I want to slow things down without overthinking it 🌿😌
