This past year has been one of transition, clarity, and purpose. If you’re new here, let me reintroduce myself!

I’m Leyla, a mother, wife, and curly hair specialist. With 10 years in the hair industry and over 5 years as the owner of my own curly hair studio, I’ve dedicated my career to celebrating and caring for natural hair and curls. As a salon owner, educator and mentor, I’m passionate about all things beauty, especially healthy hair and helping others embrace the natural beauty they were born with.

When I’m not in the salon, I’m spending time with my family and lately, I’ve been sharing more of that side of my world here. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them, so major shoutout to my family for their unwavering love and support!

This year stretched me in every way and I grew because of it.

I expanded my business and now have a team of 3 (including a salon manager) I trust and believe in. For someone used to doing it all on her own, letting go and stepping out of my comfort zone was huge! I experienced both loss and gain including friendships and new business relationships that I now treasure.

One of the biggest changes? My studio moved from Manassas to Fairfax VA. I now have a bigger and better salon space that I can finally call home! I also earned my certification in Trichology, becoming a hair loss specialist, combining my passion for hair with real knowledge to bust internet myths and truly help people understand what healthy hair means.

I’ve grown so much this year that sometimes, I don’t even recognize myself. And honestly? It’s been beautiful, painful, healing, and peaceful. 🌈

Thank you for tuning in and to my amazing clients, thank you for your continued love and support through every phase of this journey. I’m beyond grateful to have built something so meaningful, fulfilling, and truly worth it. 🥰♍️🌹
