Not every bump is an ingrown hair. 👀

As an esthetician, I hear “I think I have an ingrown” all the time—but there are several skin conditions that can look very similar.

In this post, I’m breaking down the difference between:
• Histamine reactions
• Folliculitis
• Epidermoid cysts
• Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)

Remember: This post is for educational purposes only and is not a medical diagnosis. If you have persistent, painful, or recurring bumps, it’s always best to be evaluated by a healthcare provider.

Little me would never believe this.🤍

She had no idea she’d grow up to own a business, help people feel confident in their own skin, and create a career she truly loves.

Behind every appointment is so much more than what you see. It’s continuing my education, creating content, answering messages, planning, learning, and always looking for ways to give my clients the best experience possible.

But it’s also the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

Thank you to every client who has trusted me, supported my dream, referred a friend, or simply kept coming back. Wildflower Wax Studio exists because of you, and I don’t take that for granted.

Here’s to the little girl who dreamed big… and to continuing to make her proud.🌼🤍

The key to treating an ingrown hair? Knowing what type you’re dealing with.👏

This guide breaks down the most common types, what to look for, and how to care for them.

Whether it’s legs, underarms, or a Brazilian, hearing “That’s it, we’re done” is always the best feeling.😂

I think most of us spend more time anticipating the appointment than actually being uncomfortable during it. Whether it’s your first wax or your fiftieth, that little bit of anticipation never really goes away.

But the smooth skin, less maintenance, and confidence afterward? Always worth it.✨

✨One of the most common questions I get is how to get finer hair regrowth after waxing.

The answer? Consistency.💛

Staying on a regular waxing schedule, avoiding shaving between appointments, exfoliating gently, and keeping your skin hydrated all help support smoother, softer regrowth over time.

If you’re in the “in-between” phase, don’t panic!🌱Hair grows in cycles, and it can take time for everything to sync up.

Trust the process, stay consistent, and the results will follow.✨

A lot of my clients come into waxing focused on all the “rules” — don’t shave, exfoliate, let the hair grow out, stay consistent.

But once they get into a routine, something shifts.

It stops feeling like extra work and starts feeling like life is just… easier.✨

Less daily shaving.
Softer regrowth.
Fewer ingrown hairs.
Less stress before vacations, dates, and special events.🤍

That’s the part people don’t talk about enough.

Waxing isn’t just about removing hair — it’s about removing one more thing from your mental load.💭➡️💆‍♀️

Consistency pays off, and your future self will thank you.✨

Summer workouts, sweat, heat, and friction—your skin feels it all.☀️

A lot of people assume bumps, irritation, and ingrown hairs are just part of waxing during the warmer months, but your aftercare routine can make a huge difference.

Wearing tight workout clothes, sitting in sweaty clothing for too long, skipping exfoliation, or using heavy products can all contribute to congestion and ingrown hairs between appointments.

The goal isn’t perfect skin—it’s healthy, supported skin. Consistent exfoliation, proper hydration, breathable clothing, and soothing body care products can help keep your skin smoother, calmer, and happier all summer long.✨

A little reminder that behind every small business is a real person doing their best 🤍

I truly try to be as understanding and flexible as possible, but last-minute cancellations and no-shows directly impact my schedule and income. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you.

Thank you so much to every client who respects my time, supports my business, and continues choosing me. Your support means more than you know 🤍

Hi there! ✨
I thought this would be the perfect time to reintroduce myself since there have been so many new faces lately! This was so fun to put together.

I’m beyond grateful for all of the clients who have supported me from the very beginning and for everyone I’ve met along the way. Your love and support truly mean everything to me, and I’m so excited to continue growing and welcoming more amazing people into my studio. 🤍

Creating a space where my clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for has always been the goal.

Here’s a little get-to-know-me post — I hope to see you in the studio soon! ✨
