It’s finally done

To all of our valued clients, R Place Salon is proud to announce our new owner Billy Sandifer. This will be a second location for him as he is also the owner of Dye Salon in Ferndale. Rima and I (Judy) decided to sell the salon to allow us time in other areas of our lives. Rima as well as our amazing talented staff will continue servicing all of our wonderful and loyal clients. With much consideration I have decided after almost 48 years in the business that I am going to hang up my scissors. We have enjoyed being a part of everyone’s lives over the years and look forward to future visits and staying in touch.

We are super excited to re-open the salon this week. We can’t wait to see all of our amazing clients. Just a couple reminders. Please be sure to wear a mask, preferably a disposable one if you are getting color. We ask that each person come in alone so that we may keep social distancing. We will allow for caregivers as needed. Also please don’t bring anything extra with you such as books bags etc. only your personal belongings that you will need while in the salon. We will no longer have magazines and we ask that you don’t bring books with you. These are items which cannot be sanitized. Unfortunately we will also no longer be able to have coffee or bagels. We apologize if any of this will inconveniences anyone but we are doing our best to keep our clients as well as our staff as safe as possible.
We look forward to seeing all of you in the very near future. 

So we are super excited to announce we are being allowed to re-open on Monday June 15th. In the mean time you may begin calling to schedule appointments next week. Our receptionists will be available Tuesday June 8th thru Saturday the 14th from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm daily.
We hope you can appreciate that things will be very busy as we try to schedule everyone’s appointments. We are being limited to how many clients we can allow into the salon at one time so we will be scheduling accordingly.
We will be requiring our clients to wear a mask and have their temperature taken prior to entering the salon. We will also be practicing social distancing. We are working diligently to create a safe, sanitized environment for our clients as well as our staff.

As we receive updates in the coming week as to protocols that we need to follow we will update them here.

We look forward to servicing all of our valued clients in the very near future.
