“ The Heart of Pilates”
I’ve been working weekly with Michelle for around 10 years. I’ve taken many other Pilates, barre, etc. classes at my fitness center and abroad. Michelle is the Real Deal.
If you are serious about learning Pilates, you’ve found a wonderful instructor. Michelle knows the exercises, philosophy, methodology backwards and forwards. In terms of lineage, she trained under one of Joe Pilates original disciples.
She is always prepared, tailors each lesson to your body’s needs and concerns and your motivational level. No cookie cutter classes. She balances care, encouragement, gentleness, and firmness.
What you WON’T get are gimmicks and trendiness. Michelle is true to the Pilates method and to her expert understanding of body dynamics. This is no frills, hard working, steadily building practice. Michelle is a knowledgeable and dedicated Pilates instructor. Her classes have helped me to manage my bursitis related hip pain in a way that I never would have imagined. I have achieved amazing benefits in mobility and strength that far surpass that of any traditional physical therapy that I have previously been prescribed.
