Perfect blonde for fall 🍂

Everyone want a change when the seasons change but just because you want something new doesn’t mean you have to go dark for fall! I added some dimension with lowlight but kept her overall very light and it’s my absolute favorite color for fall!

Would you believe me if I told you this wasn’t her natural color?! She was born to be a red head.

I can’t get over the perfection of this platinum blonde bob! We did a big chop today, 12” gone and a sleek blunt bob for the end of summer! ✨

I’d like to introduce you all to my newest associate Jacob!

Jacob is a recent graduate from Paul Mitchell the School Fayetteville. He chose cosmetology as a career because it’s creative, hands on, and it puts a smile on his face being able to make a client feel beautiful! In the beauty industry he is most passionate about all things hair color, from gorgeous blondes to fun fantasy shades, he wants to master it all! In the salon he really enjoy giving all the clients the best shampoo and wash experience they’ve ever had and always loves learning different foiling techniques! In his free time away from the salon Jacob enjoys baking cupcakes and binge watching the newest show on Netflix! We are so incredibly excited for him to be on our team at the Leading Edge Salon!

Blonde for the summer ☀️

Hi you all! As you can tell I’ve taken a social media hiatus for a while and it’s finally time to take a minute and update everything! The past couple of years have been insane and wonderful both personally and professionally. This is going to be a lengthy one so hold on!

I have never been more grateful for my career as a hairstylist than I am right now. As a stylist at the Leading Edge Salon, I am honored to take an associate under my wing every few months, teach them what I know, watch them expand their knowledge and create their own career. I never knew I would would get such satisfaction and pride from watching them spread their wings and go forth in their careers.

Over the past few years I’ve got to watch my first ever associate Beauty By Autumn grown and flourish into an amazing stylist whose work amazes me every time she finishes a client. You already are so successful and I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are doing what you love and making an absolute name for yourself in this industry!

Then I got the chance to get to know Giselle Anguiano who came to me saying her specialty was going to be haircuts and blow out, which she is AMAZING at. She is like a sponge soaking In techniques and has become such a rounded stylist with talent pouring out of her. Your confidence in your skill over the last year has blown me away and I can not wait to see how far you can go!

Illegally Blonde I could go on and on about the things you’ve taught me from random National Geographic facts or how to finally keep my plants alive. Your s***k, kindness and compassion makes you perfect for this job. Nothing gives me more joy than to watch you foiling one of your clients hair with precision and the eye to achieve their hair dreams.

Then there is Jacob, on Instagram as , though you have only been with me a few weeks you are smart, creative and driven. I am so proud at how fast you have come up to speed. I can not wait to see what the new few months bring and to see you start taking your own clients, you are going to rock it!

It’s a joke around the salon as I take pictures of amazing clients and their beautiful hair that their pictures go into the abyss of my camera roll never to see light again. Not only will you all be getting a photo dump of so many beautiful heads of hair I can’t wait to show you but you’ll also get to see what had consumed most of my time the past couple years!

Lastly I just want to say thank you to all of my clients. There is not a day that goes by that I do not absolutely love my job. You all make me want to continue learning and giving you all the best darn hair you’ve ever had. Thank you all for your continued support and love ❤️

Kenzi Hayhurst I just love you & your blonde hair

• Let me tell you this girl has some HAIR! We have only colored her hair one time before this and that was the first time she had EVER dyed her hair. This time she said let’s go blonder and I said say less!!!

• Millions and millions of baby lights, teasy lights, and a balayage to give her this gorgeous blended all over blonde look

•When I say I layer this haircut I LAYERED IT, then textured to get rid of bulk through the mid sections of her hair, and once I dried it textured again to thin out those bulky ends! It was well worth it.

PERFECT PLATINUM

This client came to me wanting to be pretty much totally platinum white with a little bit of her natural at the roots.

She had previously highlight hair and platinum ends so I went through and gave her a heavy baby light, then going back through and balayaging between the baby lights to get her a EVEN all over white platinum look!
