One of the hardest and most beautiful parts of growing as a salon owner has been learning how to release control, trust, and truly empower the Lash Artists God has placed around me. 💜

When you first build something, it feels like your hands are on every detail, every client, every set of lashes, every experience. And if I’m honest, transitioning from “doing it all myself” to leading and trusting a team has been a journey of growth for me personally and professionally.

But watching these girls grow in their artistry, confidence, care, and passion has been one of the greatest gifts.

At Vela, we don’t take Lash Artistry lightly.
We care deeply about lash health, customization, client experience, integrity, education, and making every woman who walks through our doors feel seen, cared for, and beautiful. It’s never just about lashes to us.

And what I’m most grateful for is that every artist in our salon carries that same heart.

These girls work hard. They stay teachable. They ask questions. They want to grow. They care about the details. They honor the standard of this salon while also bringing their own unique artistry and talent to the table — and I’m so proud of them for that.
