Natural curls + a touch of hypothyroidism for that extra little bit of razzle dazzle ✨🤩

My naturally curly girls know but in case this totally shocked you…those with curly hair are not brushing their hair daily (brushing is how we end up with a huge poofball). Whatever normal amount of daily shedding kind of stays tangled up within our curls until we wash it out next. So, when we wash, especially if it’s been a week 😳 we tend to have a whole lot of hair coming out into our hands. I personally try not to let it go down the drain, so my shower walls end up with some beautiful artwork 😅

I want to know, did seeing this amount of hair feel like your worst nightmare?

When they tell you social media is a part of the job so you try your darndest, but your content looks like what you find in your camera roll after a toddler runs around with your phone for a while.

I can’t believe how fortunate I am to get to be a part of such a special day in people’s lives, and to get to make people feel beautiful. Wedding days are truly my favorite 💕

It’s boring because you shouldn’t be moving a whole lot. There shouldn’t be constant up and down scrunching happening. Less movement of the hair = less frizz and less disruption of the curls. Using a diffuser to dry natural waves/curls SHOULD feel pretty boring. There should be a lot of hovering and staying in one place when scrunching.

I personally like to pop in my headphones on noise cancellation mode and listen to music or a podcast so I can endure, otherwise I won’t do it for long. It’s just one of those things I can’t stand doing on myself but I gotta or my hair takes 4 hours to dry.
