She doesn’t often let burnout take hold—but when life gets full, she finds her way back to herself by reconnecting with her purpose and what she loves about her work. That reset is what keeps her grounded.

On a lighter note, she’s currently in a very specific relationship with coffee ☕—a love/hate situation that recently turned into homemade espresso drinks with brown sugar creamer… and she’s fully obsessed.

When burnout creeps in, what pulls her back is purpose—knowing she’s genuinely helping people feel better about themselves. That impact is what keeps her grounded and inspired to keep showing up.

Deberah brings experience, intuition, and a deep love for customized color work into every appointment behind the chair. She thrives in the details—especially foiling in all its forms and creating personalized color formulas designed specifically for each guest.

Her favorite “I’m in my element” moment is when the transformation is still in progress, but the reaction has already started—clients falling in love mid-service, unable to stop touching their hair or checking themselves out in the mirror. That immediate joy? That’s everything to her.

She’s also passionate about pushing creativity and encouraging clients to step outside their comfort zones. One risk she wishes more people would take? Going red—and embracing dimension with multiple tones for a richer, more lived-in result.

Beyond the artistry, Deberah prioritizes connection and education. Every appointment is an opportunity to teach clients the “how” and “why” behind their hair care, while also genuinely getting to know them—their families, their lives, and what matters most to them.

Her music vibe behind the chair is just as dynamic as her work: a mix of 80’s classics (always), Latin guitar, yacht rock, contemporary folk, and whatever fits the mood of the day.

Outside the salon, she’s settling into a new chapter—reading, soaking up the sun, exploring her new area, and renovating her home. A balance of creativity, calm, and new beginnings. ✨

A look she’ll defend forever (no matter what trends say)? Teasing hair. Yes, she said it. A proud sorority-era 2010 throwback that she refuses to fully let go of—because some volume just has a place in her heart.

What keeps her inspired when burnout tries to creep in is her “why.” The deep connections formed behind the chair, helping clients feel confident in their own skin, and witnessing their true beauty come forward. Her own cancer journey brought that full circle—allowing her to now walk alongside women growing their hair back after chemo, helping them feel seen, supported, and beautiful through every stage.

Right now, she’s loving fringe in every form—shags, textured cuts, and especially a good men’s mullet. Fringe fringe fringe. ✂️

At the core of it all, being behind the chair is just as healing for her as it is for her clients. No matter what kind of day she’s having, the salon becomes a place of grounding and creation—where she can focus her energy into something beautiful, meaningful, and entirely present in the moment.
