Ashley wanted all the blues today. We did a global bleach leaving a very small amount of root to give some depth and pulled it right to the scalp around her face. We normally only do bleach once a year and sometimes once every 18 months and we play with the grow out and fade between lightening sessions. This blue dimensional look looked so good on her and I can’t wait to see how it fades and transforms.

Renae came in wanting color inspired by the actual aurora borealis she photographed here in Michigan this year and honestly, the sky did not disappoint! 🌌💚💜
For her hair, I didn’t do any lightening at all, just layered vibrant, dimensional colors over her grown-out highlights to mirror those dreamy greens, violets, pinks and soft teal shifts you see in her photos.
The result? A soft, ethereal glow that feels like the northern lights are woven right into her hair. ✨

Full blended highlights are so satisfying. Hayley hadn’t had her highlights done in a year and hadn’t been in for a toner and cut in 6 months, but her hair still had a nice blend to it. But she was ready to get brightened back up. The results are beautiful and blended.
