Kim Thames and her granddaughter Nylah are a dynamic duo bridging the generational gap between adult and youth entrepreneurship! They are the creators of Nana & Nylah Beauty Studio, LLC , where they are combining Kim’s years of experience in retail and customer service with Nylah’s youthful expressions of modern fashion and beauty!

Both Kim and Nylah are big dreamers, with plans to build a business that will unlock new opportunities to achieve their goals over the next five years! Nylah would love to explore a career in fashion and design, while Kim is passionate about speaking to women about beauty, dignity, and triumphing over hardship!

This summer Nana and Nylah Beauty Studio is debuting its signature line of lip balms and lip glosses that have been a hit with family and friends! What started as a small for-profit venture for Nylah among her friends at school, has blossomed into an early-stage small business partnership between Grandmother and granddaughter!

Kim and Nylah understand first hand that life circumstances can strip away someone's dignity and leave them feeling unwanted or unattractive. They want to provide a handmade reminder that—sometimes just a little lip gloss can lift anyone’s spirit and restore their sense of beauty and self-worth!
