As many of you know, I am due with my 3rd boy on Oct 28. Thanks to health issues during the last part of my second pregnancy, I will be going on Maternity leave early (starting Oct. 1st.) I plan on coming back for a few weeks in December before Christmas to do hair. I am asking all of you to PLEASE PREBOOK NOW and for LATER appointments. I can not emphasize enough that my schedule is limited. I will be trying my hardest to fit everyone in but for any reason if I am unable to do so I have a few trustworthy girls that will be able to take care of you while I am away or booked. Thank you again for all the love and support because of y'all, I am able to have a career that I absolutely love!

ATTENTION Clients!!
As we get ready to open in a sanitary and safe way, there are a few things I would like to share:
As of right now, I have lost 280 hours behind the chair. That translates to 280 haircuts, or 90 hair color appointments. It would take me a little over two months to catch up if I worked six days a week, and over a month if I worked every single day with no time off. And while I would love to do that, after 12 years behind the chair my body cannot handle that.

So here are some tips and tricks to get us all through this without having a severe drinking problem:
There are clients that have had roots since March 21st, the day we were shut down. So while your hair might be driving you insane, there's a client out there that has twice the length of roots you do. Try to be courteous and patient as we figure this all out.

-The easiest and fastest way to get in if you do not have an appointment already scheduled, would be you having extreme flexibility. My work schedule is even more limited now since we are on a set schedule for the salon so we can comply with 6ft apart and we won’t be bombarded with people. Also, for the time being, it is best that I not accept any new business. It is not fair for my clients and not fair for the new potential client to attempt to get in the midst of all the chaos. So if you have any friends that made their hair orange, while I appreciate the referral, I will have to turn it down!

-This will be a gradual opening while we learn the new groove of things. There are a lot of adjustments to be made, and all appointments will be extended for the sake of extreme caution and sanitation, along with hair that has had longer grow out takes longer to get back to normal.

Also, remember that for the next few weeks, our phones will be ringing like crazy. If I do not answer right away, I am with a client and will respond when possible.

Finally the guidelines for your salon visit:
-Please do not bring any guests with you, or they will be asked to sit in the car. The only exemptions are Caretakers and Children.

-Please bring a mask to wear during the duration of your appointment. I will also be wearing mine along with the other stylist and their clients. If you do not have a mask I will provide you one.

-Take comfort in knowing, all gloves are discarded after each client, all laundry is sanitized and washed for each client, and all tools, chairs, surfaces, shampoo bowls are sanitized between each appointment just as before.
That being said, masks make it very hard to breathe, combine that with your blow dry service and it may be too much for you. My suggestion if you cannot handle it, would be to leave with your hair towel dried or get a dry cut. You can always come back if there is something about your hair you don't like.

-Please stay in your car until I text you that my chair has been sanitized and is safe for you to enter and the other clients inside our salon may be uncomfortable with other clients walking in until they are finished. When in doubt, just ask.

-Any client that shows ANY symptoms of illness will be asked to leave. DO NOT be that client that knows they should stay home but tries to come anyway. You know who you are you do it during flu season every year.

-If you are more than five minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule until further notice or until the pressure of getting everyone in calms down. Every single minute counts because that eats up the time I need to get ready for the following client and anything you touch I have to sanitize. So please for now, think of it like a doctor's office and be on time!

If there are any clients that rather wait, you will never hurt my feelings! I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your hair appointment. I would hate for you to sit for three hours in panic mode because you are afraid.

My wonderful clients, This world we are living in right now is so difficult in so many ways and My heart breaks not being able to go to the salon and do the one thing I love the most. Not being able to work and socialize about our lives is hard. I miss everyone of you! We still have not had any update on when the salon will be able to open again. Please have patience and try to stay positive as I know social distancing can take a toll on someone during this time. As soon as we get any update on when we can we open I will reach out.

To all my clients, I’m so sorry to announce that I will be unable to do hair starting tonight, March 23rd, due to the mandate effective here in Denton County. Per the link attached, “this order will be effective until March 30th, unless it is either rescinded or amended pursuant to applicable law.” I will be contacting each and everyone of you who have an appointment to reschedule. I will do my best to accommodate everyone as soon as this is over. These times are crazy and I appreciate everyone of you and I’m so sorry for any inconveniences. Xoxo

Some of you have been with me since the beginning of my career in this industry, but regardless of how long we’ve known each other we have all made long lasting memories together in my chair. As always, I am committed to constantly improving my skills and abilities to ensure you are getting the best service possible at every appointment. With the ever increasing costs of operating, I do my best to run my business as efficiently as possible without compromising your service or high end products used. In addition, my skills as a hairstylist are constantly being challenged and improved with ongoing education to keep me at the top of my game to give you those Pinterest/ Instagram worthy looks. As a result, my service prices will be going up effective January 1st, 2020. Again, Thank you! With out you I would not be able to have a career that I love.
