Baby Lia Kate’s Journey Thank you for being apart of our baby’s journey. As most of you know Andy and I are over the moon about our 2nd baby girl due in sept.
When we we’re in the first trimester we found out the s*x of the baby early along with genetic testing. Her test results came back 95% Trisomy 21 which is down syndrome. Which makes us the chosen ones of an angel! The scary part is the birth defects and health problems that come along with the extra chromosome. At our 18 week check up we discovered that she has a healthy heart but she will need su

Yesterday was a bittersweet with one of our favorite doctors. Dr. Lindsey told us Lia has graduated from cardiology! Her heart is growing strong! The PDA hall is all closed up and her ASD is so tiny. It is not a concern. Thanks to all the prayers! We are so Blessed!

Someone is in a little pain. After some pain meds hopefully Lia can sleep while her body continues to heal. Thank you for the prayers!

Lia was so brave today! She had surgery this morning. Ear tubes, a throat scoped and Peg gtube in her stomach. The doctors said she did good. She is in a little bit of pain so she is resting now. Hopefully the night will go well.
