Hair Removal: Debunking Common Myths ✨

There are so many myths and misconceptions surrounding hair removal in general. So let’s get into them:

Myth: Sugaring is not safe for sensitive skin. 🧖‍♀️
Truth: FALSE! Sugaring is optimal for sensitive skin as it only removes dead skin cells and unwanted hair.

Myth: You can’t get a Brazilian or manzillion sugar wax if you have ge***al piercings. 💎

Truth: FALSE! A technician can be super precise with sugar paste so no worries about anything getting caught. Unlike traditional wax, sugar paste can be removed with water, so if any were to get on the piercing, a warm, wet towel is all we need.

Myth: Sugaring is more painful. ☁️
Truth: This experience is individual; however, long-term sugaring is less painful and it doesn’t have the residual stickiness that comes along with traditional wax.

Myth: You should not get sugared on your period. 🌙
Truth: FALSE! Because there are more hormones floating around our bodies during our menstrual cycles, we may be more sensitive than usual. But there are absolutely no issues with sugar hair removal during your moon cycle. Put on a tampon, and let’s go!
