Dear Clients,

Thank you so much for your incredible support throughout the years at Calma and Studio 12. Your dedication—especially as I’ve navigated my schedule following my eye surgery—means the world to me.

I am writing to share some changes to CALMA. Due to the reduction in clientele following my surgery last March, I no longer can maintain the space I currently have, do to the expense, so I needed to make some decisions.

Starting February 1, 2026, I will be moving across the hall (still in Studio Elements) to Studio 11. My neighbor has been gracious enough to rent me space so that I can continue to service my existing clients.
I will be moving to a limited schedule.

My new hours will be: For Color Services and Haircuts
• Saturday, Sunday, and Monday ( times will vary by scheduling)

Haircutting Only hours: ( Start Date TBD)
I will be able to do Haircuts only through the week at my home as I will be working out of my space there, clients will have to come with there hair washed, and blow-dry's will still be included.

Also a reminder, as of Jan 1, 2026 I am no longer accepting Credit Cards.
Zelle, Venmo, Cash, CashApp, Check are all forms of payment I can accept.

I hope this new schedule accommodates everyone in the best possible way, and I look forward to seeing you soon in the new space. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.

Important Update ~

I wanted to take a moment to inform you about some upcoming changes at CALMA that will take effect this fall and become permanent in the new year. Due to the rising inflation and increased surcharges imposed by credit card companies, we will be making some adjustments to our payment structure. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality beauty services, and these changes will help us maintain the level of service you expect and deserve.

Beginning November, we will begin to no longer accept credit card payments and permanently the New Year. We understand that this may be inconvenient for some of our clients, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause. However, as a small business, I need to streamline my operations to continue delivering top-quality services. Moving forward, we will begin to accept payments via Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and CashApp. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we adapt to these changes.

I’ve missed you all so much and can’t wait to see your beautiful, smiling faces again! As I prepare to return, I wanted to share a quick update on my recovery and what’s ahead.

After undergoing a challenging surgery and a demanding healing journey (imagine laying on my stomach for 50 minutes every hour for a whole week—definitely not glamorous!), I’m finally on the mend and more motivated than ever. With a brand-new hip, healing hands, and a whole lot of gratitude in my heart, I’m beyond excited to get back to doing what I love: helping you feel fabulous and refreshed.

Your messages, patience, and support throughout this time have meant the absolute world to me. I’m thrilled to announce that you can now book your appointments online directly through our website, making it easier than ever to plan your next visit.

Hi Everyone! Here's an update on my surgery as of March 26th:

Dear Valued Clients,

Thank you so much for your patience during this time. For those of you who haven't heard, I've had emergency eye surgery to reattach my retina. After speaking with my doctors post-surgery, they have informed me that starting today I will be unable to return to the salon for at least 30 days due to significantly impaired vision during recovery.
I understand the importance of your hair care services. Taking that into consideration, I would like to offer a referral to Stephanie Simpson who can be reached at (305)-343-6924. She is located at Studio Elements, Studio #10 (beside my salon space). During my absence, she will have access to all of my color formulas and will utilize all the same products for all of Calma's referred clients.
I appreciate your continued business and hope to see all of you again when I return on April 28th.

Urgent Update:

Temporary Closure for Necessary Eye Surgery

Dear valued clients, I’m reaching out with an important message regarding your appointments. Due to an urgent incident requiring corrective eye surgery on Monday, March 24th, I will be temporarily closing CALMA for the week, possibly extending to two weeks. Depending on my recovery and Dr. approval to go back to work. I appreciate your understanding during this critical time for my health and livelihood. Please reschedule on line or book a new appointment now to secure your spot for when I return, and stay tuned for updates as I recover and return to serve you!

We just had to share!

We want to keep you updated on our new salon hours to better serve you! Starting this week, Calma will be open:

Tuesday from 11 AM to 5 PM,
Wednesday from 11 AM to 7 PM,
Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM,
and Saturday from 12 noon to 4 PM.
We will be closed on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you during our new hours for all your beauty and grooming needs!
