Hello to all of our friends, family, and clients! We at The Blue House love any opportunity to help our community! Summer is over and the cold nights are upon on us. Through the end of November, we are collecting used or new gloves, beanies, coats, blankets, and sleeping bags for our homeless population in our and surrounding areas. I personally (Bonnie), will be personally handing them out to those in need. Please, if you can, donate any of the items listed above, all donations can be dropped off directly to us Monday-Saturdays. If we are not there, please PM us so we can make arrangements. We would also like to take this opportunity to all of you who have supported us, especially during our transition of moving into our current location. We seriously love all of you! We hope all of you feel at home and leave feeling like you could take over the world! We also want it to be the funnest hair experience for you! Thank you to each and every one of you. In The Blue House, you aren't clients, you're family!

Being a hairstylist is so much more than cutting and coloring hair. Over time, the people who sit in our chairs stop being “just clients.” They become friends, confidants, and in many ways, family. We share their stories, their milestones, their laughter, and sometimes even their tears.

That’s why it’s so difficult when one of them passes away. The salon feels a little emptier, and so does my heart. It’s a reminder that the bonds we create in this career are deep and real, far beyond a service. I’m grateful for every conversation, every smile, and every memory shared. To me, being a hairstylist isn’t just about beauty, it’s about connection, love, and carrying the spirit of those we’ve lost with us.
