✨ Menopause Morning Reset ✨
Your morning routine sets the tone for how you feel, move, and show up throughout the day.
During menopause, supporting your body starts with the foundations that help promote energy, strength, and overall wellness:
🧘♀️ Reset your mind — create a few intentional moments in your morning to focus, breathe, and prepare for the day ahead.
💧 Hydrate first thing — give your body the hydration it needs to function at its best.
🥚 Prioritize protein — aim for a breakfast with 30g of protein to support muscle health, metabolism, and satiety.
✨ Take your supplements — consistency matters when it comes to supporting your individual wellness goals.
🏋️♀️ Strength train — building and maintaining muscle is one of the most powerful things you can do for healthy aging.
Menopause is not a season of slowing down. It’s an opportunity to become stronger, more intentional, and more connected to your health.
Small daily choices create lasting change. 🤍

When hormone therapy helps… but you still don’t feel like yourself.
One thing we see commonly in our practice is that many women begin hormone therapy expecting relief from symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, weight concerns, low energy, and sleep changes.
And while hormone therapy can be life-changing for many women during the menopause transition, sometimes these symptoms don’t fully improve.
That’s when we start asking a deeper question: Could something else be contributing?
Thyroid disorders—especially Hashimoto’s thyroiditis—can overlap with many symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Fatigue, difficulty losing weight, hair changes, brain fog, anxiety, and feeling “off” may sometimes point to an underlying thyroid concern.
At Sky Women’s Health, our focus is understanding the full picture—not assuming every symptom is simply menopause. While we are not endocrinologists and refer patients to specialists when appropriate, we are trained to recognize when symptoms may not be explained by menopause alone and when further evaluation is needed.
Because feeling better starts with finding the right answers.

One of the most powerful things a woman can hear is, "I believe you."
"For 2 years I struggled with not feeling like myself. Every doctor I went to said everything was normal and gave no real solutions. Then there was Dr. Moyers..."
At Sky Women's Health, we know that "normal labs" don't always mean you feel your best. Every symptom deserves a conversation, every concern deserves to be heard, and every woman deserves a personalized plan.
Thank you for trusting us with your journey. Helping women reclaim their health, confidence, and quality of life is why we do what we do. 💙

"I don't even know how to explain it to my husband. It's not pleasurable. It's just constant."
She had been living with this for two years before she could say it out loud.
Persistent ge***al arousal disorder (PGAD) is real, it is diagnosable, and it affects more women than medicine has been willing to acknowledge. This is not about desire or pleasure. It is unwanted, intrusive arousal that can be deeply distressing and isolating.
If this sounds familiar, please know: you are not imagining it. You are not alone. And you deserve a provider who takes this seriously.

If you’ve spent this year calling pharmacy after pharmacy for your estradiol patch — or watching the brand change with every refill — this episode is for you.
Estrogen patches are in shortage across the country, and the strain is spreading to progesterone capsules
and estradiol gel. It’s not your pharmacist’s fault, and it’s not your doctor’s fault. It’s a supply chain problem
— and understanding it is the first step to solving it for yourself.
In Episode 259 of the Sky Women’s Health Podcast, I talk with Lauren Darisse, General Counsel &COO of
The HRT Club, about why the shortage is happening, why hormone therapy costs so much more in the U.S.,
why brand consistency matters for patch wearers, and exactly what to do if your prescription is on
backorder this week.
Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube — and share this with a friend who’s been making those
pharmacy calls too.
You asked. We answered.
From hormones and menopause to fasting, blood tests, and everything in between—Dr. Carolyn Moyers is answering some of the most common questions we receive in our DMs.
At Sky Women’s Health, we believe women deserve clear answers, evidence-based care, and the time to have meaningful conversations about their health.
Have a question you'd like answered in a future Q&A? Drop it below or send us a DM. ✨

Bleeding after menopause is something we take seriously in gynecology—and for good reason.
In medicine, we are trained to approach postmenopausal bleeding with urgency because, until proven otherwise, we want to rule out the most serious causes first. That’s where the phrase “cancer until proven otherwise” comes from.
But that phrase can feel heavy and frightening when you’re the one experiencing symptoms.
So let’s reframe it:
Postmenopausal bleeding is not normal, but it is also not automatically cancer.
There are several possible causes, many of them benign and very treatable—such as thinning of the uterine lining, polyps, hormone changes, or vaginal tissue changes after menopause. What matters most is timely evaluation, not panic.
At Sky Women’s Health, our approach is simple: we take your symptoms seriously without taking away your sense of calm. You deserve clarity, not fear.

If your doctor never really explained progesterone, you are not alone. I hear this almost every day in my practice. Estrogen tends to dominate the menopause conversation, while progesterone gets cast as the quieter, less interesting partner. That framing is costing women real quality of life. Progesterone plays an essential role in sleep, mood, brain health, and more. It deserves far more attention than it typically receives. I wrote this post to explain what progesterone actually does and why understanding it matters for your health. If you've felt like something was missing in your menopause care, this might help connect some dots.
