Hi, Frederick! 💚
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Harley, and I'm the owner of Simply Lavish Hair, a private salon suite located inside Salon Lofts at Market Commons here in Frederick.
Owning my own salon has always been a dream of mine, and I truly can't express how grateful I am for this incredible community. Every appointment booked, recommendation, share, comment, and kind word means more to me than you know.
When you support a small business, you're doing so much more than booking a service. You're supporting someone's dream, helping them continue their education, invest in high-quality products, and create a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through the door.
One of my favorite parts of being a hairstylist is getting to know the people who sit in my chair. My goal is to create a relaxing, one-on-one experience where you feel heard, cared for, and leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.
While I'm best known for my vivid color transformations, I also love creating beautiful all-over color, dimensional blonding, highlights, balayage, precision haircuts, conditioning treatments, facial waxing, and beard services. Whether you're looking for a bold transformation or a simple refresh, I'd love the opportunity to help you achieve your hair goals.

We have meticulously executed a chop all over, commencing slightly below shoulder length and gradually extending slightly above shoulder, with a slight angle towards the front. The hair was subsequently lifted and deeply toned into a rich, deep, and vibrant color throughout. This transformation took approximately five hours to complete.

Today, we performed a beautiful full foil on my client. We wanted a darker shade of red! 🍒

Upkeep on this look, if you didn’t know red is the most staining and quickest-fading color! She’s beautiful, but she’s also high maintenance. However, with the right care and attention, you’ll be just fine! To minimize washing, use cold water and only get your hair wet during washing and conditioning. Avoid using high heat and opt for color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Depending on your commitment, you could also use color-depositing shampoo or conditioner. Remember to avoid ocean water or chlorinated water (like pool water) as it can strip your color. Also, don’t forget that the sun can fade color, I know it’s summer. 😆 So, wear hats to protect your hair!

We gave her a beautiful face-framing money piece, along with a root touch-up, gloss cut treatment, and blowout!

Products I used Shampoo and mask work together because they contain acidic bonding agents. These agents repair and strengthen damaged hair by repairing broken bonds inside the hair shaft. They also balance the hair’s natural pH, which seals the cuticle and reduces frizz. Using this duo can result in softer, shinier, and much stronger hair in just one use.

We had to ensure my beautiful Josie girl's hair looked just right! We gave her a beautiful root and melt treatment, followed by a cut and blow dry to keep her looking fresh and fabulous. 😝💁🏼♀️

My first guest came in and wanted a smoother transition into her natural color while also correcting the warmth and banding in her hair. We were happy with our greys, so we didn't want to cover them. Instead, we wanted to blend them, so we applied a color gloss over her hair.
