It’s so cool to see progress! When I first tstarted playing with makeup, I was so ill from my I couldn’t even leave the house. I would muster up what little energy I had, and sit in front of the mirror and play with makeup. Makeup quickly became my escape and my therapy. I would flare up after practicing for hours but it was always worth it to me because I know it was good for my soul. Now, I’m at the point in my where I am strong enough to make this my job! It’s crazy to think that because of my illness, I discovered my passion... which in turn is becoming my career. I will be honest, I’m terrified. I haven’t worked in over 7 years and I still have flare ups on and off. I’m taking a huge leap of faith and of course all of the “what ifs” set in. But, I’m choosing to move forward. The pandemic has created set backs, but I will be vaccinated in a couple of weeks which means I’ll be taking my first set of clients! I’m so excited to start this new chapter in my life. I haven’t been dealt the best cards in my 20s but I am choosing to welcome in this new season of change. 💗
