I started my business when I was still in nursing school.
What most people don’t know is that before I ever put a needle to skin, I had been knee-deep in medical education, hospitals, internships, and many high-valued career opportunities.

But everything changed when I got sick.
Mystery diagnoses. No answers. And a deep knowing that I could no longer walk a path I didn’t believe in. I watched the system fail me, and I knew I couldn’t pour my life force into something that felt so empty.

So I walked away.
Away from the security, the “good job,” the years of schooling.
And into the unknown.

I leaned into my artist soul — the one that had been alive since I was 12 years old, doing nails, cutting hair, and doing makeup from raw instinct. Everything was self-taught. I wasn’t perfect, but I was passionate. I had a gift. I bet on myself.

My mom told me I was making a mistake.
That I was throwing away a real career for a fantasy.
But I kept going.

And by the time I passed my boards and became a licensed RN, my business was already thriving.
