TO TINT ON OR OFF THE SHIELD?? 🤔
While we’ve touched on this topic before, let’s explore a few additional considerations.
Tinting on the rod:
⭐️ Increases the risk of sensitivities: With lashes wrapped around the rod/shield, the waterline is exposed, raising the chance of tint contact with the eye.
⭐️ More challenging to tint bottom lashes.
⭐️ Rod/shield can become stained.
Using an eye guard:
⭐️ Securely holds both top and bottom lashes in their newly lifted position, encouraging the desired lash direction.
⭐️ Enables clean and precise tint application from the lash base to the tip.
⭐️ Minimises tint wastage: Application with a brush and an eye guard ensures efficient use of product.

If you’ve been around this account for a while, you’ll remember AB5 and that NONE of us had an exemption and ability to rent in the beginning. You all stood your ground, reached out to your elected officials and change happened.

had a hard stop at 2022….but again, you reached out and helped get an extension. But that extension timed out, leaving manicurists the option of being a w2 hourly employee or go out in their own and be an establishment owner…not a renter…starting 1/1/25.

As an industry, we need to stand together and work toward equal treatment for ALL license types.

So it’s time to make those calls and write the emails to the elected officials who WORK FOR YOU.
