How it started ➡️ How it’s going.

This client’s fine hair was made even more delicate by the use of permanent high lift color on top of bleach. (Which is what caused all the orange in between) For that reason I had to “slow step” the ends with more bleach, create a new highlight pattern to break up the blotchy chunks, tone and trim what was salvageable, and piece out the bits of broken blonde that couldn’t be touched by anything chemical. Over and over again for almost a year. Thankfully we’ve finally made it over that hill, and now we just nurture it and let it grow long!

Growing up by John’s side all these years has both kicked my ass and elevated me to new heights. It’s tested me on every level, rebuilt me, brought out the best and worst of me, and taught me what unconditional love costs.

A road this long and strong is not glamorous, it’s gritty. (Which literally means tough, determined, and unafraid to face hardship.

What I know for certain after 18 years of this, we’re an unstoppable fu***ng force.

Low maintenance touch ups are a vibe.
