Cookies to Crochet

BTS of making the popular again hacky sacks, or foot bags. Each one is made with my favorite cotton yarn (it’s soft, yet durable) & filled with 35g of poly pellets encased in a nylon stocking. Each individual bag weighs around 46 grams, with regulation weight being between 40-65g (according to my research on the internet).

More requests have come in than I anticipated, so now I’m waiting for a materials order. My plan is to have a good supply of sacks ready to go for Wednesday’s on Broadway—June 17th in downtown Spring Valley.

Tomorrow is market day!! It’s time for another Preston Pop Up in Preston, MN. Vendors will be inside & outside of the United Methodist Church (I will be inside 😊) from 10am to 3pm. So today I am working on tagging & packing up all the pretties, like these hanging plants. Hope to see you there! 🩷

Mother’s Day is just a couple weeks away & these hanging plants make a great gift! I will have several different basket colors, with a variety of greens available soon — they are currently a work in progress 😅. There are also several currently available at the Tickled Pink Makers Market store in Rochester. 🩷

Good morning! Back at Echo Church (the old movie theater off of West Circle Drive NW) in Rochester today until 3pm. Plants have been the popular item this weekend, so one of the curly snakes came over to see what the fuss is all about 😂
