Candiss & Co., a braiding studio located in the South Houston area. An award-winning hairstylist who is a sought-after speaker and panelist at hair shows throughout the Southeast, Candiss has been in the hair styling industry for 23 years and specializes in all hair types and styles. From workin
g with extensions to natural hair, there is no limit to her ability to create
striking and memorable designs that help her clients make a statement, and create iconic
moments, whether on the Big Screen, on stage, or the runway. Candiss’ ability to create designs that celebrate her clients’ features and sensuality, as well as her unwavering commitment to keeping hair healthy through healthy hair braiding techniques and use of the highest quality hair products has earned her a distinguished client list that includes many high profile individuals including NASA executives and scientists, sorority members, comedians, singers, corporate executives, and professional athletes – some of which fly into the area for her services. She has always had a passion for natural hair care products and creativity with her work. maintaining the health of your hair,” says Candiss. “We have clients who have cancer. Some are cancer survivors. Others have Alopecia or Eczema, so we have to be especially careful about what we put on their scalp. This is one of the reasons I created Best Dressed Tress. There’s not enough quality, all natural hair products on the market. My goal was to create something that would allow people to be manage their hair without fear of damaging their locks or scalp, and that would aid in hair growth.”
