Also something to note is they do have you remove ALL metal/jewelry from your body when you are in delivery for easy access if any complications arise, doing this with a fresh piercing will result in that piercing closing! They take 6-9 months up to 1 year to heal so it’s better to wait!
If you do decide to get pierced while breast feeding please at least wait until you are 3 months postpartum to make sure you have adequately healed from your delivery.
