This lovely lady was delighted with her spiral perm, which boasted enhanced strength and lacked any post perm odor.

It seemed this young man was anxious, because he never gets the haircut he wants. His hair was thick, so strategic texturizing is key to create movement and prevent the hair from looking like a big "clump".
We discussed giving him some curls via a perm, it was cute to see him light up and say, "Can I, Mom!?
"

Naturally curly hair, reshaped to give a bit more roundness, instead of the bottom heavy triangle that is often the bane of the coily haired.
Haircuts like this must be carefully crafted and customized. Conventional layers won't work. I utilize a freehand approach to carefully shape and achieve bespoke results.

The trend goes in and out, but I'm here for when it's here! I'm pretty impressed with their expectations. Back in the day, when I would get perms, it was not unusual for me to be a little "shocked" initially. Not today's kids, they were wowed and genuinely happy! I'm so appreciative of that .

Her grown out layers made her hair appear nearly one length when she came in.
Reshaped, and about 3" off her length, gave her more of a defined
look.

100% virgin hair, with about 75% gray in front, about 40% towards the back. She is very low maintenance.
Instead of giving her all over color, I opted instead to foil and hand paint permanent color, for a softer grow out.
Reshaped with some more layers to maximize her natural waves.
