Here is my PSA for the day. This 👇🏻 is NOT HAND TIED HAIR!!! This is a Flat Weft. It lays flatter to the head vs. traditional machine weft hair. Hand tied hair is exactly that...made by hand, tying hair together with thread. Hand tied wefts are thinner and more invisible when sewn into the hair (and when done well, the stitching will disappear into the hair as well for a truly seamless application).

There is nothing wrong with different types of weft hair, there are pros and cons to each of them. I only use hand tied hair by ✨ But if you’re looking for hand tied hair extensions (and being charged hand tied prices), it’s good to know the difference between these types as many stylists offer “hand tied extensions” when the hair they use is definitely not hand tied. The more you know 😉

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful for each and every one of you that has sat in my chair. I hope you’ll be enjoying the day with family and friends, as I’ll be doing the same. What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving? I’m not a huge fan of turkey, but I love all the sides (especially mashed potatoes!), and later I might be snuggled up watching Elf ❄️
