This beautiful soul is celebrating a birthday today—the very best one, #29.

Her smile lights up the entire room, her laughter is contagious. She has the best stories 😂 (I swear she’s lived 83 different lives). She’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met—constantly leaving one job to go work a full time shift at another. But it’s her growth & knowledge within this industry that has been the most incredible to witness, especially these last few months. Very proud of you friend.

Whenever I coach or consult with other stylists about their business, the number one suggestion I make to them is find yourself a Lisa.

She’s so more than the face behind the phone. She’s an integral part of our team, our biggest cheerleader and the sweetest friend. She’s tiny, but mighty so don’t hurt our feelings or she will fight you 🤣 She’s the first one to text me every chemo morning 😭🥹and the one who never really takes vacation without taking work with her. Because let’s be real, we can’t function when she’s gone. She’s incredibly hard working, the kindest, funniest, most loyal friend and happens to be married to the world’s most well-informed-about-extensions-salon husband. Just be careful when drinking Palomas with her….you’ll have a REAAALLLL good time.

I didn’t know how good work could be until she joined our crew and I selfishly don’t ever wanna work without her. How has it already been four years?? I feel like she’s been a part of my everyday forever. We love you so much Liser. We hope you had the best birthday!!!

Last year in Paris, I was on the hunt for a specific line of skincare that I had heard amazing things about. By happenstance, the last day we were there I found a boutique spa that carried the mother load. While I was prepared to purchase anything they told me I needed to make my skin look like I was twenty nine again, there was a bit of a language barrier between myself and the sales associate that prevented a true consultation from happening. Just imagine me in this insanely gorgeous, pristine spa trying to fake French Sign Language and explain concerns about my skin while just enunciating words really slow in English. It was a true moment of beauty & poise. She is grace, lemme tell ya.

They suited me up with an entire bag of tinctures, toners & lotions. But the most valuable thing I walked away with was a sheet of all products from the line. Not only did It list every product they make, but she had checked the ones she had sold me, numbered them in order in which to use them and had written notes to remember about them. Genius marketing move.
