I had the best time today with ! I did a mild color correction adding 1 row of using hair 🥰. This beauty glows from within and I was lucky enough to help make her look like an angel 😇.

The funniest compliment I have received in awhile is that I would catfish someone with these pics 😂😂😂. Still not sure how to take that however I die laughing every time I think about it. Thank you for taking the time to make me feel beautiful! Mady allowed me to have some fun in front of the camera which is not my norm. Sometimes we need a little push out of our comfort zone. Who knows where it will take us . . .

Sometimes the answer to making blonde brighter is to break up the current color with low lights 🤭. This was my first session with Stephanie and she was ready to break up with her current situation. Using a technique, I did a face frame foil to refresh that “money piece” and soften the harsh grow out line around her part. Then I deepened her root as well as balayaging low lights through out her ends to create soft dimension. And vualá we have brighter yet lived in blonde!

****TRAGIC HAIR STORY ALERT****
Last summer, Alyssa who has beautiful naturally light auburn hair was in the mood to go blonde. She found a random salon near her home that also a quick availability. On her first session they performed multiple on the scalp bleach processes in a very quick fashion 🤦🏼‍♀️. Yup you guessed it! Her hair was basically melted off 😭 which also meant a massive haircut 💇‍♀️.
A couple weeks later she went back in because her hair was brassy. The stylist thought it would be in Alyssa’s best interest to color her hair dark brown 🤯🤬😱.
Fast forward a year and some well earned hair experience and Alyssa is sitting in my chair.
All she is asking is to feel pretty again and recognize who she sees in the mirror.
Yes, my heart is totally breaking at this moment!!! I am so honored that she asked my to help her with this task 🥰🥰🥰.

**** THE PROCESS****
In an effort to not add to the damage I gave her a healthy haircut and glossed her hair with equal parts of 8gk and clear.
I did this to blend her natural, the brown stripe and deepen the blonde blown out ends. Her hair just isn’t ready for a true color correction just yet.
Then I added 2 rows of 18” using hair layering colors 3k and 31k. This instantly added the length and fullness that her hair once was and will be again.
I blended her hair and the extension hair together creating a fun and sexy curtain bang s**g 💁‍♀️.

**** THE FINISH OUT****
Using a 1 1/4” curling iron. I took 1”X 1” sized sections curling the hair away from the face. I then sprayed the curls with Dry texture spray. Raked out the curls with a wide tooth comb then re-applied Dry Texture Spray to my hearts content!!

Since Mady has been seeing me she has had the classic struggle of do I go lighter or stay with my natural color? We came to the conclusion that we are in Texas aka “Go Blonde or Go Home”! With everything being so uncertain with literally everything in life lately it was officially time for “the change”.... 💇‍♀️💇‍♀️💇‍♀️. I am LOVING the results!!
The process -

Low light - 7M
Shadow root - 7M
Glossed previously lightened hair with equal parts 9m and clear with just a couple of grams of peach.
I did the same process to her extensions.

b r e a k through.....
Today was FINALLY the day where we took the time to break through Danielle’s previous dark color. This was no small feat! This process was layered with gray coverage, teasy lights, blonding tip out, multi tonal glossing treatment and haircut. Whew 💁‍♀️💇‍♀️!!! This was totally worth the heavy lifting 💪💪💪 Now Danielle will be able to enjoy her lighter hair with the ease of lived in color 😉.
