Right here in our little small town, we’ve created a peaceful, drama-free, laid-back salon that clients truly love. Blondy & Company was born out of a dream in 1998—a dream to create a salon where professionalism, creativity, and true integrity lived at the center of everything. After years of growing behind the chair and pouring into my clients, God led me to a place I instantly knew was home: Funkstown.

Seventeen years ago, I walked into this building with a vision bigger than myself. Brick by brick, client by client, and prayer by prayer, Blondy & Company became more than a salon. It became a community.

Today, we’re thankful for the 17 amazing years in Funkstown and the start of our 18th year. We’ve grown into a thriving booth-rental salon where independent stylists can work for themselves while still being part of a supportive, uplifting team. I’ve always believed a stylist should feel empowered—not boxed in—and that philosophy has shaped every corner of this space.

With an open-concept design, a warm atmosphere, and a dedication to clean, healthy hair care, Blondy & Company continues to serve clients with the same passion we started with. Many of our guests have been with us from the very beginning, some for decades, and their loyalty is the heartbeat of our story.

From the faith that carried us here, to the clients who have trusted us for generations, this little Funkstown salon has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. And the journey is still unfolding—beautifully.
