A room where friendships were made, laughter would be heard throughout, tears were shed, visions brought to life, and where dreams were made.

It’s hard to write this because a chapter is finally ending, a chapter that I knew would happen but didn’t think would come this soon. ⁣
⁣
𝘼𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟮𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙨.⁣

I know I don’t need to explain why this is happening but I feel like I owe it to you all to explain it. As most, if not all, of you know I was going back to school to start a new journey of eventually becoming a social worker. This is something that I have been passionate about and working hard to achieving. In December I finished my first degree that would start my new journey. I have since taken a job as a Case Manager at a mental health and addiction counseling center. Working 40+ hours with clients and being on the road about 75% of that time has made my weeks exhausting, in a good way, but exhausting enough. I thought cutting my days down to every other Saturday in the salon would be enough but honestly I mentally and physically need the weekends to be able to decompress. ⁣

Mental health is an important thing to maintain and I can’t give my all to my new clients if I can’t give my all to myself first. So therefore I have made one of the most difficult decisions and that is to step away from hair, my first love and first career. I am truly blessed to have the clientele that I’ve had for the last 10+ years, you all have supported and cheered me on during this journey and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I want you all to know this decision wasn’t made lightly or quickly, a lot of thought and tears were made during this process. ⁣
⁣
So what does that mean between now and then? If you have an appointment with me, the appointment stays. If you don’t, I’m sorry, but I will not be making anymore as I am booked up until then. If you want me to give you stylist recommendations please feel free to reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible with one. I will also send your color formulas with you. ⁣

Thank you all for the best years. It was a pleasure doing your hair but even more so knowing you all. I love you all and I will miss every single one of you! 💜💜

Isn’t she so darling?! I did this little miss’s hair in a beautiful rainbow pattern! Working on her hair was one of the highlights of my career in hair. The rainbow is extremely important to her family so to be able to do this was not only special for her but also for them!! Soon the whole family will have fun colored hair and I can’t wait to do a little photo shoot with their vibrant hair! ⁣

Hello beautiful people!

As most of you know I was going to school to get a degree in Case Management to eventually become a Social Worker. As of December I finished my first degree and started looking for a full time job. Well last night I accepted a new job that will begin in April! I’m so excited for this next step but I’m also nervous!

So what does that mean for me and you in regards to getting your hair done? Well, as promised to you, I will not be walking away from hair completely but going to Saturday’s only with Limited hours. Instead of being able to book online for an appointment you will now need to message me to get an appointment! I will no longer be accepting new clients as well so that I can be sure that I can get my current clients in!

By doing a panel balayage we are able to create extra dimension within the hair so that the ends don’t become solid blonde! My client loves her dark hair but loves to have pieces of blonde throughout while also get the longevity out of it! ⁣

I was so excited to use the blacklight color line by Pulp Riot on my client. She wanted something way different and it looks stunning on her! The pink will eventually fade to a stunning soft rose gold color which is why I tell my clients to embrace the fade because it is equally as beautiful as the day it was done! ⁣
